The Library of Congress Surplus Books Program offers free books to libraries, schools and organizations in need. Oregon’s Sixth Congressional District participates in the Surplus Book Program to send books that are not needed in the Library of Congress to eligible organizations around the district. There is wide range of books, including fiction and nonfiction novels, children’s books, textbooks, cookbooks, audio books and more.
