Rep. Salinas introduces resolution to establish July 20 as National Moon Day

On July 24, 2024, KATU wrote about Congresswoman Andrea Salinas' (D-Tigard) new resolution to establish July 20th as "National Moon Day" in honor of the first-ever lunar landing in 1969. The resolution commemorates the 55th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing and honors all those who paved the way for human spaceflight and continue to make it possible today.
